I haven't eaten from McD for years - I find their burgers and fries give
me a heavy feeling in my stomach about 30 minutes after I'm finished
eating. Mild indigestion?

Initially I was hooked, though. As a student working in Blackfriars Road
in London, I'd even take a bus at lunchtime to the one in Haymarket to
get my fix. I especially loved the gherkins in the burgers, and the
apple pies.

I even worked in a McD in the US for a few weeks and ate there at least
twice a day, plus at least once in the Pizza Hut where I also worked.
I'm amazed that I never got supersized.

Now I work near several McDs in London and go past another couple on the
way home, but find them very easy to resist.

I'm an American and I've never eaten in a McDonald's. If I want a
hamburger, other places makes them better. In general, I try to
avoid chains (except Starbuck's).

hamburger, other places makes them better. In general, I try to
avoid chains (except Starbuck's).

I'm an American and I've never eaten in a McDonald's. If I want a
hamburger, other places makes them better. In general, I try to
avoid chains (except Starbuck's).

Why do brits eat at mcDonalds?
Americans and Aussies only go there because its clean and dirt cheap.
But in England (all UK?), McDonalds is fscking expensive! Is it just
that all the cheaper 'cafs' have inedible food?

Starbucks !? McCoffee. $5 for coffee in a paper cup? You must be
joking. I hear they have massive amounts of caffeine to get people
addicted.

Starbucks !? McCoffee. $5 for coffee in a paper cup? You must be
joking. I hear they have massive amounts of caffeine to get people

You must be
joking. I hear they have massive amounts of caffeine to get people
addicted.
